The mortality bulletin of Goa’s Health Department recorded 12 more deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 48 hours in Goa. With this surge in numbers, the total Covid death toll in Goa has touched 440 on Thursday.
Of the 12 deaths, eight occurred at Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim and four at ESI Covid Hospital in Margao. All 12 deceased aged between 50 and 82 years suffered from comorbid conditions which ranged from hypertension to chronic kidney disease and liver cirrhosis.
Only one patient passed away in less than 24 hours of being admitted at the hospital.
