The cyber cell of Margao police has recovered 16 mobile phones that were either lost or stolen in recent months.
Margao police station in-charge PI Arun Desai said the cyber cell team successfully recovered the phones. The mobile phones belonged to people from different parts of Goa and outside the State and have since been handed over to their owners.
Responding to a query, Desai said police would take action against those involved if any of the owners lodged a complaint stating that their phone had been stolen. Further investigation is in progress.
