Around 16 government officers have been promoted on an ad-hoc basis and posted to serve in some crucial positions in the State administration till such time as permanent appointments are made in these posts.
Also, another order issued by the Personnel Department has transferred and reshuffled five other officers.
Antonio Lourenco has been appointed as land acquisition officer, A V Redkar as Deputy Director (Administration in the PWD, Tipanna Maddimani as Deputy Collector (Revenue) in South Goa, Ashweta Redkar as Deputy Director (Admin) in the Directorate of Technical Education, Sandra De Souza as Deputy Collector (Revenue) in North Goa, Prassani Halarnkar as Deputy Director (Child Welfare) in the Department of Women and Child Welfare, Asha Harmalkar as Deputy Collector (Revenue) in North Goa, Swati Dalvi as Under Secretary (Health II), Deepali Naik as Under Secretary in the Lokayukta’s office and with additional charge of Member Secretary of Marathi Akademi.
Meanwhile, Aleixo Vaz has been appointed General Manager of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation with the additional charge of Deputy Director (Admin) in the Tourism Department and Violet Gomes is posted as Administrative Officer of Hospicio Hospital in Margao.
The Communidades of North Goa have got a new administrators in Shrikant Mahalunkar and Chandrawa Bhandari is appointed as Deputy Director (Admin) in the office of the Director General of Police.
The order also posts Begum Lobo as Dy Director (Admin) in the Fire and Emergency Services, G R Kajoli as Deputy Director of Information Technology with additional charge of Deputy Director (Admin) of the Government Printing Press.
The following officers have been transferred on recommendation of Goa Services Board - Shivanee Borkar, Under Secretary (ARD) to Dy Director Apna Ghar with additional responsibility of Land Acquisition Officer (Housing Board), Nayan Moroscar who was hitherto assistant commissioner of Excise (II) is transferred as Deputy Director (Admin) in the WRD and with additional charge of Deputy Director (Admin) Labour and Employment.
Geeta Nagvekar who was Under Secretary to the WRD Minister has been posted as Under Secretary Revenue (II) and Rochelle Fernandes who Under Secretary, Goa State Information Commission has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, CCP with additional charge of Deputy Director (Admin) DFDA.
Kuldeep Arolkar, Under Secretary (Revenue-II) has been transferred as Under Secretary (ARD) with additional charge of the office of Dy Director (Admin) Electricity Department while Rohan Kaskar the Deputy Director (Admin) Industries, Trade & Commerce is relieved of his additional charge of OSD, GHRSSIDC.
