The Margao police have registered a case of kidnapping against three persons for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from the lawful guardianship of her mother.
The FIR has been registered under Section 137(2) r/w 3(5) of BNS 2023 and Section 8(2) of Goa Children’s Act following a complaint from the girl’s mother stating that her daughter has been kidnapped from her residence on July 14, 2025.
In another case, the Margao police have registered a case of kidnapping after a native of Madhya Pradesh complained that his minor daughter has been kidnapped by unknown persons on September 8.
In his complaint, the father of the minor daughter, a resident of Margao, but a native of Madhya Pradesh, stated that on September 8, 2025 at around 16.50 hours, unknown accused person kidnapped her minor daughter from his lawful guardianship from Ghatmorod, MES, Margao without his consent.
