Valpoi police have arrested two more persons in connection with an illegal beef transportation case.
Bicholim SDPO Jivba Dalvi stated that, in continuation of further investigation into the crime registered at Valpoi Police Station, Asif Choudhari of Mapusa and Javeed Nazir Ahmed Tamboli, a native of Belagavi-Karnataka but residing at Kharewaddo, were arrested in the crime after their involvement was established.
The two accused are the owners of vehicles that had been seized for allegedly transporting beef illegally at Chorla Ghat in the early hours of Sunday. PSI Prathemesh Gawas is conducting further investigation.
