The Colva police have nabbed a 24-year old accused from Saharanpur-Uttar Pradesh and has rescued the victim minor girl kidnapped from Benaulim on March 7.
Police informed that a complaint to this effect was lodged at the police station by the father of the victim girl stating that her minor girl was kidnapped by the accused from his legal guardianship.
A Colva police team headed by PSI Francis Xavier, which had gone to Saharanpur managed to nab the accused Rashid Malik with the help of the local police. The youth has been arrested under section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act and under section 363 of the IPC.
