28-year-old dies after gym session

A 28-year-old man from Headland died after suddenly collapsing shortly after returning home from a gym session on Saturday, triggering concern among locals over the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Gauresh Parab, a resident of Headland, who was employed with the electricity department. According to available information, Parab returned home after exercising at a gym and consumed some juice. Soon after, he complained of severe chest pain.

Sensing the seriousness of his condition, Parab contacted a friend and decided to rush to the Chicalim Sub-District Hospital for medical assistance. However, his condition worsened rapidly, and he collapsed on the way before reaching the hospital.

Despite efforts to provide him immediate treatment, he was declared dead. The sudden nature of the incident has left family members and residents in shock.

Further formalities are expected to be carried out to ascertain the exact cause of death.
