3 held with Rs 2 lakh tobacco products

MARGAO: The Margao police on Tuesday arrested three persons and recovered from their possession various tobacco products worth Rs two lakh.

Margao PI C L Patil said the trio hailing from the Rumdamol Housing Board were nabbed while selling the tobacco items in an open place at Gandhi market.

PI Patil said the accused have been booked under the provisions of the Goa Public Health Act.

Further investigations are on.
