Panaji police arrested 36-year-old Ratan Kumar Pradhan from Odisha in a raid near Nagali Cricket Ground early this morning, following a tip-off about illegal narcotics.
During the operation last night, the accused was caught red-handed with 970 grams of suspected ganja, valued at approximately Rs 97,000 in the international market.
A case has been registered at Panaji Police Station (Crime No. 110/2025) under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act, 1985.
