As AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal came to Goa to announce his second guarantee, he was greeted by a sea of volunteers from across Goa.
AAP stated in a press release that volunteers from the 191 panchayats of Goa came to Mapusa to attend a mammoth volunteer meeting in the run-up to the Goa elections. The panchayat volunteers took a pledge that they would win Goa for AAP.
The volunteers were electrified by Kejriwal's message and the second guarantee. Volunteers cheered as Kejriwal unveiled his plan to solve Goa's unemployment crisis. Charged up volunteers joined Kejriwal in slogans and took a pledge to save Goa from the BJP and the present crop of elected MLAs, the release added.
The release further states that AAP has been aggressively growing in the state on the back of its strong door to door outreach programme and activities that help common Goans. AAP has organised more than 300 Veej Andolan meetings across Goa, set up corner oxygen testing centres, and went door to door with an Oximeter service. During the height of the pandemic, the party volunteers worked day and night to help Goans get everything from medical care to oxygen cylinders.
