4 docs detained for creating ruckus in Old Goa restaurant

OLD GOA: Four doctors working in a hospital at Old Goa were detained by the Old Goa police on charges of creating a ruckus at a restaurant in Dhauji in an inebriated state on Wednesday night.

The Old Goa police informed that the owner of the restaurant complained to the police that the four doctors, in a drunken state, started creating ruckus and kicking the tables and chairs.

Sources informed that the doctors were so drunk that they didn’t listen to the owner and staff of the restaurant after which the Old Goa police were called, who then detained the four and registered an offence against them.

“The four got bail from a local court on Thursday evening,” the police informed. PSI Veronica Coutinho is investigating the matter further.
