The Colva police has arrested five persons from Bihar in connection with the theft of LED TVs from a resort at Benaulim worth Rs 6.5 lakh.
The police have already recovered four LED TVs and six boxes of electrical wire.
Colva police station in-charge, PI Filomeno Costa informed that the five accused who were working as employees of a electrical company had decamped with the LED TVs from the resort located at Calvado-Benaulim.
Acting on a complaint, investigating officer, PSI Melito Fernandes along with his team nabbed the accused and has recovered the stolen LEDs. Their names were provided a Chandradev Singh, Shibam Kumar Singh, Suraj Kumar, Dharmendra Chemu Singh and Amit Kumar Singh.
The Colva police are investigating.
