Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo and AAP State convenor, Rahul Mhambre were among the five candidates who filed their nominations for the assembly election in Bardez taluka on Tuesday.
While former minister Dayanand Mandrekar and Glenn Ticlo filed their nominations as BJP candidates from Siolim and Aldona constituencies respectively, Colvale ZP member Kavita Kandlolkar filed her papers as TMC nominee from Tivim and AAP State convenor Rahul Mhambre filed his nomination from Mapusa seat.
One Neeta Khanvilkar has also filed her nomination papers as Independent candidate from Mapusa.
Mandrekar is contesting for the fifth time in Siolim while Ticlo will be contesting for the third time from Aldona. Both Kandolkar and Mhambre are contesting for the first time.
