50-year-old dies in accident at Bicholim

A motorcycle rider, Anand Naik (50) from Bordem, Bicholim, died on the spot after a motorbike, which he was riding, collided with an oncoming bus at Vhalshim, Bicholim, at about 7:30 pm on Monday.

According to Bicholim police, the deceased was heading towards Mapusa on his motorcycle when the accident occurred. The bus was traveling towards Bicholim. The body of the deceased has been shifted to GMC and Hospital, Bambolim, for autopsy. Bicholim police are further investigating into the matter.
