The Fatorda police have registered a FIR against six persons for allegedly obstructing Fatorda PSI Sukhada Prabhudesai from discharging her lawful duty as a public servant.
The incident is alleged to have occurred outside the Fatorda police station on late Friday when the police brought accused Avinash Gunjikar to the police station in connection with the gang war case.
The police have alleged that the accused with their common object caused disturbance at the Fatorda police station through loud behaviour and PSI Prabhudesai attempted to address the situation, the accused persons used criminal force by grabbing the complainant’s collar, thereby obstructed the complainant from discharging her lawful duty as a public servant.
A case under section 132, 221 r/w 190 of BNS Act, 2023 stands registered the six accused persons all women. The police is investigating.
