Six persons, including the driver, were injured after a Mahindra Scorpio overturned at Ugave while travelling from Naibag towards Patradevi on Sunday evening.
The accident occurred around 6.30 pm when the vehicle, bearing registration number KA-49-N-2005, reached a sharp turn. According to eyewitnesses, the Scorpio was travelling at high speed when the driver lost control, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.
The injured were identified as driver Roshan, 21, of Nipani, Karnataka, and passengers Pratham Chandurkar, Prathamesh Mansule, Pratik Golekar, Gurish Ankush and Shubham Randive.
Police reached the spot and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
