The South Goa district Collector has ordered the temporary closure/ regulation of vehicular traffic via Cuncolim Market, Sidhanagar and Bhuinsa Road, for a period of 60 days to undertake repair work of the existing culvert for 60 days.
The road diversion has been ordered after the Collector’s office received a proposal from the Executive Engineer, Works Division VI, PWD stating that they are executing the work of existing damaged culvert located on the stretch of at Bhuinsa, Cuncolim. The PWD has requested permission for temporary closure of road and diversion of road at Bhuinsa Cuncolim, for a period of 60 days, as per the enclosed diversion plan.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police, (Traffic), South Goa District, Margao-Goa, vide letter dated 15/10/2026, has conveyed No Objection to the proposal subject to compliance with the conditions stipulated therein.
The Superintendent of Police, South Goa District, Margao-Goa vide letter dated 17/10/2026 has also conveyed No Objection for granting permission for temporary road closure and diversion subject to compliance with the conditions mentioned therein.
