A 65-year-old scooter rider from Duler-Mapusa, who had sustained grievous injuries when his scooter collided with an oncoming car on the highway at Porvorim on Thursday night, died at the GMC hospital in Bambolim on Friday evening.
Ramchandra Ghonge was driving his electric scooter when he dashed his scooter against an oncoming car near Mall de Goa. Ghonge suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to GMC Bambolim, where he succumbed to injuries while undergoing medical treatment.
Porvorim Police registered an offence under Sections 279 and 304 A of IPC and PSI Sitaram Malik is investigating the case.
