The post-Covid-19 care clinic at Hospicio played host to around eight recovered patients, including healthcare workers.
The weekly clinic has been set up at the Hospicio hospital on the ground floor near the entrance.
On day one of the opening of the clinic, around recovered patients, including health workers availed of the medical facilities.
Hospicio Medical Superintendent, Dr Deepa Correia Afonso, told The Goan said many still do not that about the post-Covid-care facility.
“We expect many recovered patients to visit the weekly clinic in the coming weeks since many have been inquiring about it,” she said.
The clinic will function every Thursday between 2 pm and 4.30 pm. It will provide an integrated approach to ensure holistic well-being of patients with co-morbidities.
“With the continued medical care, diagnostics, ayurvedic medicines, yoga and naturopathic lifestyle advice and chest physiotherapy, the clinic aims to boost the lung health of the patients,” she said.
Dr Deepa pointed out that only recovered patients having comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension etc should visit the clinic for treatment and advice.
