PANAJI: St Michael Convent High School, Vagator-Anjuna, will present a musical 'Mercy Street' as a part of the annual day on September 25, at 6 pm in the school hall. The works of mercy done by Fr Agnelo De Souza, Fr Faustino De Souza (Founder - Congregation of Holy Family of Nazareth), St Teresa of Kolkata and Sr Mary Jane will be depicted with enactment and dance performances.

Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas, (Secretary General, CBCI) and Michael Lobo MLA Calangute constituency will be the chief guests.

Notification on ore transportation withdrawn PANAJI The Department of Mines and Geology has withdrawn its moratorium on ore transport which was issued at the beginning of the monsoon paving way for the recommencing of the mining season. A notification to that effect was issued on Thursday. “The monsoon has almost receded, the notification issued stands withdrawn with immediate effect,” Director of Mines Prasanna Acharya has said.
