MARGAO
Three successive political events unfolding late in the night have prompted the Aam Aadmi Party to compare the government with a night club.
Addressing a group of co-villagers at Dandora-Cuncolim, AAP Convenor and Lok Sabha candidate Elvis Gomes himself hailing from Cuncolim described in details the political events post the death of then chief minister Manohar Parrikar and said that the government plays the ‘dance of democracy’ only at nights like a night club allegedly based on astrological considerations.
“Are they working late nights for the common people?” questioned Gomes.
He called upon the people of Cuncolim to relive history that the village had fought against injustice and said time had come for cleansing the political rot that had set into the state.
Gomes called upon Cuncolkars to take responsibility for the sake of the entire state of Goa and help win the fight for the protection of interest of future generations.
