After 15 yrs, main road at Betul-Quepem gets hotmix

After a gap of 15 years, the main road at Betul-Quepem finally began to get a hotmix.

Quepem MLA Altone Dcosta on Friday launches the hotmixing and road-widening work of the Naquerim-Betul road, which is being undertaken by the PWD at the cost of around Rs 6 crore, in the presence of former deputy chief minister Chandrakant Kavlekar, PWD officials and locals.

Seeking on the occasion, D’Costa thanked the BJP government and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for undertaking various development projects in his constituency, despite being in the Opposition.

D’Sosta said the hotmixing and road-widening of the Naquerim-Betul road was pending for 15 years and commended PWD officials for their efforts in getting the project work done in the constituency.
