The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Naushad Chowdhari as the state president of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI).
“The AICC President has approved the proposal of the appointment of Naushad Chowdhari as the NSUI State President for Goa,” said K C Venugopal, General Secretary of AICC in a press note.
Chowdhari was functioning as the North Goa President of NSUI.
“I am humbled to have been promoted from NSUI North Goa President to NSUI Goa President. I would like to express my profound gratitude to Congress leadership Girish Chodankar and Digambar Kamat and our Congress office-bearers for showing faith in me,” Chowdhari said.
He also thanked national president of the NSUI Neeraj Kundan and national secretary Eric Stephen for guiding and helping to serve the student community.
