The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has slotted the 'public hearing' under environmental laws for the Dabolim airport expansion project for December 4 from 10 am.
To be held at the Community Center of the Airport Colony at Sancoale, only 100 people will be permitted to physically attend the public hearing, a notice issued by GSPCB said.
However, the spillover applicants to attend the 'public hearing' will be provided an e-platform to participate via the digital mode.
The airport expansion project of the Airports Authority of India at Dabolim proposes extension of the terminal building by adding another 35,500 square meters and also a extending the Apron eastwards by over 9,000 square meters.
Those wishing to partake in the public hearing must register via email with the GSPCB on its official email ID [email protected].
The project details, including the EIA report draft in hard copies are being made available for inspection at panchayats and other government offices and can also be accessed on www.goaspcb.gov.in, the GSPCB notice said.
