CANACONA
Liquor bottles worth Rs 1.23 lakh were seized from a private warehouse in Canacona, in a joint raid by Canacona police and ATS Panaji.
According to Canacona PI Pravin Gawas, a joint raid was conducted and 804.256 litres of alcohol in different brands worth Rs 1,23,823 were found illegally stocked in the warehouse.
A case has been registered against the warehouse owner and the seized liquor has been handed over the Canacona Excise, sources added.
