All the accused arrested in the Mungul gang war assault case have been granted bail by the South Goa Sessions Court.
While the court had released around 11–12 accused last week, the remaining accused were granted bail on Monday.
The court imposed several conditions. Each accused has to furnish a bail bond of Rs 50,000 with two sureties of the same amount and surrender their passports to the investigating officer.
The Fatorda police had arrested 28 persons in connection with the assault that took place at Mungul on August 12, in which two occupants of a car were seriously injured.
The police later registered a case of attempt to murder against the accused. The charge sheet has already been filed in the court.
