PANAJI: Archbishop of Goa Filipe Neri Ferrao has sought for prayers for a dialogue and reconciliation in a world of unrest.
Delivering his message at Panaji on the eve of Christmas, Fr Ferrão has sought to remind us of the need for peace.
“If the Holy Babe lies helpless in the crib, we feel encouraged to approach him with the situations of unrest in the world, in our country and in our State, and especially in our families, asking Him to help us seek peaceful solutions…,” Fr Ferrão said.
“In this Year of the Jubilee of the Mercy of God, proclaimed by our beloved Pope Francis, we pray especially that the Prince of Peace may encourage us to be ever more efficient instruments of forgiveness and understanding, in the present and in the future,” he added.
“We pray that the Babe of Bethlehem, the Prophet of Peace, may encourage us all to promote dialogue and reconciliation and to sustain our efforts to build peace,” he said.
