The Governor Dr Mridula Sinha extending her greetings to the people on Goa’s Liberation Day urged to secure hard fought freedom and strive hard to pursue lofty goals through the idea of liberation.

The Governor said “Goa became free on December 19, 1961, from the colonial rule. It is the duty of the present and the generations to come to not only remember the freedom fighters but also take note of their immense discipline which we should imbibe to safeguard and secure the hard fought freedom.”
