Assotikar appointed AAP spokesperson

Aam Aadmi Party appointed Vikesh Assotikar as the party's spokesperson in the state. 

In a press release, AAP stated that Assotikar was an active member of Congress since 2012. He became part of the IT cell of the Goa Congress Party in 2014. He was North Goa district president of the IT cell of the Goa Congress Party in 2015. In 2017, he contested assembly elections from the Pernem constituency on a Congress ticket. 

He has been associated with JCI (junior chamber international) and was Goa president in the year 2012 and the National Director of JCI India in 2013. 

Assotikar said, "I was impressed by the Kejriwal's way of work. Because of his vision, common citizens have benefited. I want to see such honest governance in the state and a party that will work for the common man. Kejriwal does what he says". 

Rahul Mhambre, AAP Goa convener said, "Appointing Assotikar as a party's spokesperson will strengthen the party's core ahead of elections".
