The Margao police arrested a resident of Khareband Mehboob Parshavali and recovered from his possession ganja weighing 1.5 kg valued around Rs 1.5 lakh in the market.
The accused was arrested by the raiding party headed by PI Ditendra Naik near the fire station, Aquem near the Aquem side of the Margao police station.
The police is investigating.
