PONDA: Ponda Taluka Legal Services Committee recently conducted an awareness programme on 'protection of women from domestic violence' at Curti-Ponda.
Adv Vandana Naik spoke on 'The rights of women and protection of women from domestic violence', while Adv Suvarna Naik spoke on the Pre-Natal Sex Selection and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique Act'.
Both lawyers informed the gathering on ways they could seek free legal aid. Ujwala Naik compered the programme, while Kiran Gaude co-ordinated the event.
