On the occasion of the 5th Naturopathy Day, the Surya Foundation and International Naturopathy Organization (INO) in association with the Ministry of AYUSH launched the organization of Naturopathy Health and Consultation Camps for public awareness towards Naturopathy Yoga which will be held from November 18, 2022, to March 3, 2023.
Surya Foundation and Chairman of INO, Padmashree Jaiprakash Agarwal appreciated the works of Naturopathy doctors who were honoured in the programme. He said that because of such heroes, Naturopathy is gaining recognition in the country and abroad, in Nepal and other countries including China and Singapore and hospitals for Naturopathy have been launched. He said that Naturopathy Health and Consultation Camps would be organized in which people would be counselled about Naturopathy and made aware of how they can benefit from their traditional system of curing i.e Naturopathy.
Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the campaign of 1,000 health and counselling camps at Dr Ambedkar International Center.
On this occasion, he said that Surya Foundation and INO have been making positive efforts for the all-around development of the country for the last 30 years along with nation-building activities to spread the knowledge and benefits of Naturopathy Yoga in every household. Sarbananda Sonowal said AYUSH assures that all the demands of INO will be considered in the context of Naturopathy.
In his message to INO, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was greatly appreciated knowing about the programmes being organized by the Surya Foundation and Naturopathy Organization on the occasion of Naturopathy Day 2022. "This Amrit period of 25 years till the centenary of independence is the duty period for all of us to work wholeheartedly."
On this occasion, in his message through video conferencing, former president Ramnath Kobind praised Surya Foundation and Chairman of INO, Padma Shri Jayaprakash Agarwal and said that he is such a sage of naturopathy, who is doing naturopathy with body, mind and wealth, engaged in the promotion of Naturopathy.
