MAPUSA: The Additional and Sessions Court will hear the bail plea of RTI activist and two policemen on December 26, who were accused of robbing a businessman from Mangalore at the tune of Rs 10.2 lakh.
It may be recalled that RTI activist Deepak Gadekar robbed businessman, Karthik Kotyan, who had come down to Baga to exchange the currency by taking commission, with the help of police head constable Keshav Naik and police constable Mahendra Mandrekar.
Meanwhile, Gadekar has been admitted to the Institute of Psychiatry & Human Behaviour (IPHB) after he tried to inflict injuries on himself.
Calangute Police on December 17 arrested all three accused and they were remanded to 10 days police custody by the JMFC.
The CID sleuths had also arrested Atmaram Malvankar and Pratish Agawadekar from Morjim and Gautam Korgaonkar from Chopdem, who were also allegedly involved in the case.
