The residents of Bhati, Curca, Bambolim and Talaulim have not been receiving water supply for the last many days and have to dependent on the limited supply of water through the water tankers.

Recently, after some villagers requested St Andre MLA Francis Silveira to solve the issue, he assured to look into the matter. “Water from the overhead tank at Santan should be released at fixed scheduled time,” demanded a villager. Silveira said the water from the overhead tank at Santan is supplied in less quantity to Bhati and Curca villages. “I will take up the issue with Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and request him to fill this tank fully. I am sure the chief minister will solve the issue soon,” he added.
