When was this lifestyle store launched ?
Yogita's Lifestyle Store was established in 2010.
We have launched a new brand calles Esther & Ethanol - an exclusive brand designed especially for my store. Esther is the expression of the inner beauty of vibrant women and Ethanol is the spirit of variation to mens' own feeling of expression. The styles available for women are Tunics, off shoulders, dresses, tops, etc. While the mens' range includes shirts and kurtas. The store also has Diwali decorations, diyas, wax candles, lights and various other gift items. The store also stocks linen shirts for men.
Special hand made sarees meticulously designed by my friend from Mumbai. I also have plans to start my own designs. The saree range includes Kalamkari, Mangalgiri, cotton silk, Khadi silk - all these hand embroidered from artisans based in Kutch (Gujarat). The price range of a garment at my Store begins from Rs 800.
Basically, the clientele includes a cross section of the society as the store stocks garments to suit all pockets. Hence, the price range is affordable to all.
My store is frequented by all sections of the society. Moreover, even foreigners have appreciated my work. Especially, the hand embroidered section is where foreigners have taken a keen interest. However, I have had a tough time in retaining the tailors.
The footfalls at my store are satisfactory. But, the response for my garments is better in North Goa.
Sales of such garments which turn redundant due to changes in fashion are disposed off by holding a sale. By and large, this takes care of the dead stock.
I plan to showcase new collections, especially garments made out of organic material and stress on hand made garments.
