MARGAO
The late Chandrakant Keni journalist award, which is given to the veteran Journalist, who has contributed to the upliftment of Goa, will be conferred upon noted journalist and writer Adv Uday Bhembre, who worked along with Keni to secure the independent identity of Goa in the Opinion Poll agitation.
This award-giving ceremony will be held on November 26, at a function to be held at Margao Municipal hall at 5 pm to mark the 88th birth anniversary of the Late Keni, who was a great writer and journalist and always fought for the cause of Goa throughout his life.
This award will be given at the hands of renowned Industrialist & the Chairman of Fomento Group of Industries Auduth Timblo, who will grace the function as the chief guest.
