Bicholim police trace 11 mobile phones

The Bicholim police have successfully traced 11 mobile phones which had been reported as stolen or missing between May and June.

The mobile phones were traced through the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) Portal as part of sustained technical efforts by the police. The total value of the recovered mobile phones is approximately Rs 2.66 lakh.

After completing the necessary verification and legal formalities, all the recovered mobile phones were handed over to their respective owners. The owners expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Bicholim police for the prompt and efficient recovery of their valuable property.

Bicholim police has appealed to the public to immediately report any lost or stolen mobile phones and register the details on the CEIR Portal to facilitate timely tracing and recovery. Citizens are also advised to preserve the IMEI number of their mobile phones and promptly report any loss or theft to the nearest police station and through the CEIR Portal to improve the chances of recovery.
