A man has been arrested by Mapusa police from a village in Bihar on charges of blackmailing a woman by taking obscene videos of her.
According to reports, the accused had befriended a woman and shot obscene videos of her. He then allegedly blackmailed the woman with a threat to circulate it to other people and demanded sexual favours.
Acting on a complaint, Mapusa police led by a team of PSI Ashish Porob and Prakash Polekar went to Bihar and apprehended the accused, Gautam Kumar (22). Police have registered an offence against him under Sections 354A, 354C, 354D, and 506 (II) of IPC.
