The Goa Congress on Saturday hit back at the BJP for calling its meeting with the Governor as “cheap theatrics” and instead said that cheap theatrics was instead a “super speciality of the BJP.”
“The Congress does not indulge in cheap theatrics. It is the super speciality of the BJP. When Parrikar was in the opposition he wore black T-shirts with the words “English Why? Mai Bhas Zai” scribbled on them and he went and sat on the highway. That is the real cheap theatrics,” Congress spokesperson Yatish Naik said.
Naik questioned what was wrong in the Congress petitioning the Governor and asking her to do what had to be done. “The BJP does not believe in democracy and by questioning our right to meet the Governor they are proving that they do not believe in democracy. They have
shown it in Karnataka and now they are showing it in Goa,” Naik said.
