Indian Youth Congress National President Srinivas B V on Tuesday accused the BJP governments in Goa and at the centre of having mismanaged the Covid pandemic and for failing the people who elected them to power.

Srinivas was speaking to reporters after landing at Dabolim airport en route to Karwar.

He was greeted at the airport by GPCC members, including GPCC Youth President Varad Mardolkar, General Secretary Janardhan Bhandari and others.

"BJP completely mismanaged the Covid pandemic and they don't have any vision. They have not increased oxygen or ICU beds and it is sad that so many people in Goa have died due to lack of oxygen. The government is not taking into consideration the poor people or migrant workers," said Srinivas.

Srinvas said the BJP had failed not only in Goa but in the entire country as well.

"Everyone knows how the BJP has mismanaged the Covid pandemic. India is the second largest oxygen producer in the world yet no one is getting proper oxygen. They have exported vaccines and yet, some people have been forced to buy vaccines from the black market at a high price,” said Srinivas.
