MARGAO
With the Lok Sabha elections round the corner, the BJP Yuva Morcha has set its sights in minority dominated Salcete to garner as many votes as possible for the party in the ensuing election.
Addressing the media to announce the Margao Yuva Morcha President Ketan Kurtarkar and his team, BJP National Executive Committee member Bavesh Zambaulikar said the BJP youth workers will concentrate on all the seats, including the constituencies of minority-dominated Benaulim, Velim, Nuvem and Curtorim and take the developmental schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the nook and corner of the State.
He said the BJP Yuva Morcha workers have been nursing a dream to have a party MLA in Margao and get all the developmental works done through him in the commercial capital, adding that the constitution of the new panel headed by Ketan Kurtarkar will help achieve the dream.
He pointed out that the Yuva Morcha workers have been entrusted with the responsibility to strengthen the party at the booth level, adding that the youth workers will play an important role at the grassroots in the ensuing election. When his attention was drawn to the fact that no member of the minority communities finds a place in the BJP Yuva Morcha for Margao constituency, Zambaulikar said the list released by the party is still open for induction of more members, saying that members will be inducted at the district committee as well.
