The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Thursday declared the results of the first term examination for the Secondary School Certificate (Class X) conducted in December.
Students will be able to access the results through their school authorities after the Board uploaded them on its official gbshse.gov.in website which can be accessed by school administrators and principals with their institutional login credentials.
This is the first time that the Goa Board is holding the SSC examination in two tranches -- first and second term -- a move adopted after the hurdles faced in conducting the single March-April exam in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
While in 2020, the exam was finally conducted in the physical mode, the Board had to put off physical examinations in 2021 due to the devastating second wave of infections and relied on a truncated internal assessment module to compute results without holding any final examination.
As per the policy, during the academic year 2021-22, the board will conduct each of the two term-end exams.
Similar pattern of conducting two term examinations has also been adopted for the HSSCE (Class XII) by the Board.
