A body of an unknown male was recovered from the fields at Madel, close to the wholesale fish market on Thursday.

Fatorda police station in-charge PI Nathan Almeida said the police has registered a case of unnatural death of the person. Saying that no injuries were found on the body of the deceased, PI Almeida said the police have started investigations into the case.

A forensic team and sniffer dog was pressed into service to collect vital clues and help the investigations. The police is investigating.
