A Verna resident has complained that his Royal Enfield motorcycle was misappropriated after it was borrowed by an acquaintance and later allegedly passed on to another person, with both now blaming each other and refusing to reveal the vehicle’s whereabouts.
According to police, the complainant, Sudesh Kerkar of Verna, said the incident occurred before May 31, 2024 at Lovesh Arcade building, Castelvaddo, Nagoa, Verna.
He alleged that the accused, Safhan Khan of Alto Dabolim, borrowed the motorcycle for personal use but failed to return it and later handed it over to Shabaz Shaikh of Vasco.
Verna police have registered an offence under section 316(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
