The unbearable heat being experienced across the state over the last week, especially around midday, is expected to peak briefly with the maximum temperature expected to rise by almost two degrees by Wednesday, the state meteorological department has disclosed.
Over the last 24 hours, maximum temperatures recorded at Panaji and Mormugao were 33 and 32.6 degrees celsius respectively.
As per the weather prediction, while the minimum range will rise by one degree Celsius from 22 to 23 degrees, the maximum range will shoot up steeply between Tuesday and Thursday, peaking at 35 degrees on Wednesday.
