MARGAOr r A family from Marlem-Borda realized the bitter truth when burglars not only managed to barge inside the house in their absence, but also managed to lift gold ornaments hidden in a tiffin box. The owner, Rubertina Dias had proceeded abroad to visit her children when the burglars targeted the closed house in her absence. r Neighbours, who noticed the burglary immediately informed her daughter, who later found that the burglars managed to lift her mother’s gold ornaments, including bangles and a chain hidden in a tiffin box. Cash of Rs 15,000 was also lifted from the house.
