Civil officials, cops transferred

PANAJIr rAmong the officials transferred are, Arvind Gawas who was posted out of the state after his promotion to the IPS cadre is now the Superintendent of Police of South Goa while Chandan Chowdhary who was the Superintendent of Police South is now posted as the North Goa SP. rKartik Kashyap is now the Superintendent of Police (Special branch) with additional charge of Crime, Economic Offences and the Special Investigation Team. rOther transfers include that of Shekhar Prabhudesai currently posted as the SP of the reserve battalion is now the SP of headquarters while Vishram Borkar rwho was the SP of the headquarters is now the SP of the reserve battalion. rThe government has also effected transfers of bureaucrats. Agnelo Fernandes the Additional Collector II of North Goa is now posted as Additional Collector I of South relieving South Goa Collector Swapnil rNaik of additional charge while Vikas Gaunekar who was posted as the Director of Planning Statistics and Evaluation is posted as Additional Collector I North Goa. rSignificantly, Dr Y Durga Prasad who was posted as the Joint Director of Planning is now made the Director of Planning Statistics and Evaluation. rOther transfers include that of Harish Adconkar, the deputy collector of Bicholim who has been given additional charge as the Chief Officer of the Bicholim Municipal Council and of Ravindra Bhavan Sanquelim, Shripad Arlekar the Chief Officer of the Bicholim Municipal Council and Ravindra Bhavan Sanquelim who has been posted as Deputy Director of Apna Ghar and Smita Hede the Deputy Director of Apna Ghar who has been posted as the under secretary of the handicrafts, textile and coir. rParesh Fal Desai Deputy Collector and SDO II of Salcete shall hold additional charge of Dy Collector Revenue, South thereby relieving Vinayak Volvoikar of additional charge.
