OLD GOA:
In all the panchayats of Sao Mathias, Goltim-Navelim, Corlim, Cumbarjua and Carambolim, Madkaikar’s men were elected unopposed to the post of sarpanch and deputy sarpanch.
In Sao Mathias, Sadanand Phadte was elected as sarpanch and Sangita Harvalkar as deputy.
In Goltim-Navelim, Snehal Harmalkar was elected as sarpanch with Mario Pinto getting the deputy sarpanch’s post.
In Corlim, Shiva Naik and Caitan Po were elected as sarpanch and deputy sarpanch respectively. In Cumbarjua, Nishita Gaude got the top post and Suresh Naik the post of the deputy.
In Carambolim, Rajesh Naik was elected as sarpanch and Mohandas Kholkar was elected as deputy sarpanch.
Meanwhile, in St Estevam, Joanita D’Costa became the sarpanch and
Chiara Gomes became the deputy sarpanch.
