As part of the #SevaPakhwada, The Office of the District Collector and the Superintendent of Police, South Goa, launched Campus Connect, a joint initiative under the District Level Committee of the Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) at Margao.

The programme is designed to strengthen the bond between the administration, police, and youth through regular engagement on campuses and at the Collectorate.

On this occasion, students who had excelled in competitions on drug awareness were felicitated for their creativity and commitment in spreading the message of “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”

Collector and District Magistrate, Egna Cleetus, IAS, SP South Goa, Tikam Singh Verma, IPS, and students from various schools attended the programme.

Under Campus Connect, the Collector, SP, and senior officials will hold monthly sessions at campuses and at the Collectorate. These sessions will include talks, workshops, and open discussions, addressing challenges like drug usage, peer pressure, and digital safety, while also highlighting opportunities for leadership, skill-building, and community service.
