A 20-year old scooter rider from Canacona died in a road accident at Varca on late Wednesday night.
Colva police informed that Bliston Nelviton Martins, a resident of Loliem-Canacona wa brought dead by 108 ambulance to the hospital after he met with an accident at Repravaddo-Varca.
Police said inquiries have revealed that the deceased while proceeding from Fatrade Varca towards Varca Margao side on his scooter lost control and fell down on the road when he reached near Axis Bank Repravaddo Varca.
As he sustained bleeding injuries, he was shifted to District hospital Margao by 108 Ambulance, where the Medical Officer on duty declared him brought dead.
